It is officially Summer and I could not be more thrilled! I love the Summer, the warm weather and all the fun trips I go on with my family. The school year is always so busy with schedules, school and work, so when Summer hits I really like to take advantage of some downtime with my family and for myself. We work so hard all year and we deserve a break. To get you ready for your next beach vacation or trip to the pool, I have put together a great list for your vacation. The list consists of everything you need to not only enjoy your time in the water, but to look good while you’re there too!

1. Beach Towel
Here are a few great beach towels that I found and I love! Lightweight or ones that come with a carrying case are fantastic to help save space when on the go.
2. Straw Hat
There are so many great straw hat options offered, and I am here for it! I especially love the versions that roll up because it makes packing them so simple.
3. Rubber Slides
I love rubber slides for a pool or beach day because they do not stay wet. Plus your leather shoes can get ruined from the water, so having a rubber option is so necessary. You can easily dry them off with a towel or in the sun. Here are some chic and comfortable options I love.
4. Beach Bag
A larger size bag is great because it allows you to carry all yours and your families stuff. You know packing light for the beach is not possible, especially when you have kids lol!
5. Swim Suit

6. Sunglasses
Sunglasses are always a go to, but for a beach trip they are definitely a must to protect your eyes from the sun, and to look good of course!
7. Sunscreen
Sunscreen is a tough one especially on women of color. My favorite go to has to be the Supergoop Unseen as it does not leave the thick white cast on your skin.
8. Cover Up
A lightweight dress that is easy to throw on, and rolls up small to fit in a bag or suitcase is great for traveling. Here are some great options that are packable and stylish.
9. Tech Accessories
For those that like to keep your phone safe in the water or protect your personal belongings, these little add ons are perfect. I have also included a great large pouch for personal belongings and a waterproof speaker.
10. Lip Balm
I always have several lip balms on me when I travel as my lips get very dry from the sun and sand. Here are some good ones with SPF in them.
