Last week I had the pleasure to take part in the Family Dollar Fabulous event. I and 5 other bloggers were hosted by Family Dollar during this event, which creates awareness of all the amazing brands offered by Family Dollar. We started the evening by visiting one of the family dollar stores and went over the amazing selection offered. I was most intrigued to discover most of the skin care products I use were already available. I also observed a vast selection of hair products for African American hair. Products like “Knot On My Watch” by Aunt Jackie’s, are now my favorite hair product to use to detangle my hair, as well as my daughters, as it literally untangles our hair on contact!
After the tour we were whisked off to a private location where we got to relax, listen to a live band, and get massages. After our little break, family Dollar put on an amazing party where we got to meet some of our followers, take tons of photos, and interview the amazing Kim Fields! I got to ask her “what was her number one fashion moment”! It was truly an amazing event, and I can’t wait for next year!
