You couldn’t deny the presence of animal print both on the runways, and the streets of New York. Both leopard and snakeskin reigned supreme. Leopard print was probably the most dominant prince of all, however snakeskin was also present in the form of cowboy boots, midi skirts, and other accessories.

Believe it or not I am not a big leopard print fan. Snakeskin is more my speed. However there are so many amazing leopard print pieces available right now that I could not help but indulge. This was one of the looks that I wore featuring the print for fashion week. Because this dress screams leopard, I decided to tone it down, and pair it with a boyfriend denim jacket. I also paired the dress with architectural inspired Cult Gaia mules. The mules soften the tone of the dress, making this look work for everyday wear.
Although this look was shot in Toronto Canada. It makes for the perfect classic chic look featuring an animal print. A snakeskin midi skirt is extremely classic and makes its way to every major retailers shelves every year. I paired this beautiful Lafayette148 leather skirt, with this beautiful cashmere turtleneck sweater. The sweater is actually long enough to be worn as a sweater dress, however it looks perfect with the skirt.
I find snakeskin to be easier to wear. I still find leopard print to be a little overwhelming. If leopard print is a little too much for you, opt for snakeskin. And if you are a fashion lover like me, opt for both.
