Saved by the bell – getting ready for back to school

I’m usually ready for back to school, however back to school snuck up on me this year. Previous years, I would’ve purchased my kids supplies, clothing, and all essentials for getting ready for back to school weeks in advance. This year not so much. Not only did I not purchase supplies weeks in advance, but I didn’t have any supplies the week school started! I blame my tardiness on being out of the country 3 weeks out, throwing myself back into work when I arrived, getting sick a week later, and a tooth extraction only days before school started.
School started for my kids last week, and I wasn’t ready in the least bit.  I was literally save by the bell or in this case, saved by Walmart. Thanks to Walmart’s back to school shop and next day delivery service, I was able to get my kids back to school items just in time. I literally ordered their items on Tuesday and they arrived on Wednesday. School started for my kids on Thursday last week, hence they went to school with all their supplies in-tow.
