A tulle dress makes for the perfect holiday outfit
Now that the holiday season is in full swing it’s time to bring out your tulle dresses. Although I believe in wearing tulle all year round, it’s essential to wear tulle during the holidays. This fine net fabric which is made out of cotton or silk is synonymous with the holidays. Every year like clock work, designers put their own creative spin on the material. Creating contemporary styles that will ensure you are the life of the party.
The right accessories to achieve the look
Dresses made out of tulle are generally dressy and formal. In order to change the style direction of a tulle dress you have to pair it with at least one accessory that is a total opposite. My combat boots are the opposite piece in this look, however the embellished detail and wool material make the shoes semi-formal. A mirrored cross body bag worn as a waist bag also compliments the casual-cool edge of the outfit. Lastly I wore a beaded necklace as a bracelet. Introducing another formal piece to the look balances the outfit.
