I want to hold onto my summer wardrobe forever! Even with 100 degree temperatures, I know it’s time to start putting together my fall wardrobe. What are the easiest ways to hold onto every bit of summer fashion while transitioning your wardrobe into fall? How can I continue to remain on trend for the last days of summer and give my wardrobe that cooler look while making a statement? In today’s post, I address these questions. I highlight one of my favorite color trends this summer, and give tips on not only wearing the trend into the last days of summer, but how easy it is to transition them into fall with just a few tweaks.
Today I highlight one of my favorite summer trends. The combination of blue and white stripes continues to be one of my favorite color combos and trends. I’ll never grow tired of this classic color combination, and that is why I will transition the trend into fall. Stripes represent being bold and daring, while white means pure. I laugh at this color combo when I think of the meaning behind it. Regardless of the meaning, there is something about blue and white stripes that make it perfect to transition into the fall.

wearing blue and white from the end of summer to fall
I’m sure for some, hearing that blue and white can be worn into fall is shocking. The reality is, it works, especially as we continue to experience warmer fall weather! As temperatures cool down, you can switch your white shorts for white pants. Trade out your sandals for pumps or even a pair of boots. This look will even make for the perfect Labor Day outfit for those outdoor bbqs whether it’s hot like summer or cool like fall.
By simply swapping summer staples like sandals and shorts for pants, and pumps or boots, you will make an easy outfit transition. By pairing my white and blue stripe top with blue or white skinny jeans, a pair of white pumps, my look works for fall. One thing to remember as we transition seasons is that your style does not and should not have to be sacrificed. As you get ready for fall, ensure you end summer with a bang, with a bold yet clean look!
