Last Wednesday, I had the incredible honor to co-moderate an event in LA that left a lasting impact.
The @edenventuregroup’s 'WeeCreateAfrica: Community over Competition' communion session, hosted by @lakebell and @swsstuder , was a night filled with beauty, unity, and a profound sense of support.
Amidst the captivating conversations, we delved into the inspiring work of Women for Women International and their remarkable #SheDares campaign. This organization empowers women in conflict-ridden regions, providing them with the resources to reclaim their communities.
We also explored the crucial role Hollywood plays in shaping the narrative of people of African descent, especially its women, including its rich and powerful fashion culture.
It was a timely reminder that each of us has a unique story to tell, one that can inspire, uplift, and drive meaningful change. By courageously taking control of our own narratives, we can collectively make a difference beyond imagination.
So, let's remember the transformative power of our stories. Let's use them to inspire, uplift, and create change, for we hold the potential to shape a better world when our voices are heard. 🌟🌍
