FASHION AND STYLE: LEATHER ON LEATHER WITH A DROP OF DENIM

Lam skin leather is fun and sexy hence I have a ton of it. I love the fact that leather totally made a huge come-back this season, giving me the opportunity to play around with cool leather  silhouettes. Too much leather done wrong can come across as a hot mess so you want to make sure you are picking the right pieces of leather to complete an outfit. I picked this leather dress because it showcases the black and white trend of the season, and the white strip panel breaks up all the black. I think pairing dresses over pants is totally cool (only when done right), my leather leggings act as an extension of the dress, elongating the look creating a taller longer appearance.  A denim and leather sleeve jacket serves as the last piece to this outfit puzzle. The light denim picks off the white on the dress and breaks up the leather, softening the look. A pop of color with my bag, cool sun-wear and booties complete this very chic, very on trend look.

  • I literally got it 12years ago from Danier Leather in Canada!!! In 2000 Ralph Lauren did the whole black and white theme and Danier copied the look and created this dress. I died when I saw it then and had to have it. It's such a classic!
