I don’t know about you but I love the fact that international prints are so in right now. In the fashion world it’s known
as tribal print but in Africa (Nigeria) it’s origins, this very cool
style of fabric is know as Ankara. Ankara has a very interesting history
(google it, this is not fashion history lol) and is worn anywhere from
everyday to special occasions. Major designers like Burberry and Marni
have showcased tribal prints in their
collections indicating it’s presence in mainstream fashion. My tribal
look consist of a peplum top made of red and black Ankara (get the look here).
Peplum tops are totally in so when I saw this I fell in love. In order
to breakup the print I added a vintage belt. The belt also makes my
waist smaller, making me love the top even more. Depending on what color
your prints are you can either go with another print but in matching
colors or a simple and sexy pair of Capri pants like I did. A pair of pencil
heel stilettos and a classic bag complete my tribal meets sexy look
ready for any occasion.

Tribal Prints are so much fun to style and with all the history associated with the places they originate from.
You have styled it really well.
