Oh how we love patterns and white butterflies are no exceptions! When I
found these very cool shorts I wanted to match it with an old butterfly
lilac dress shirt I owned, however I did not like the look and I decided
to match it with something that would complement the white butterflies
on the dark green fabric of the shorts. If you want to highlight a particular color in a
pattern, make sure you pair it with a top that is the color you want the
focus on – hence I pair my shorts with a stark-white tee-shirt. I wanted
to be casual yet somewhat dressy making the tee-shirt a perfect option.
To offset the casual tee shirt I threw on a gold and cream knit jacket,
gold and caramel pumps and a fab bag also with gold details. All the
little fun details give my white butterflies room to shine!
