Every outfit gets debuted on the doorstep hence I thought steps would make a perfect backdrop for this look. This
retro/classic/modern meets girly looks is totally cool chic and easy to
replicate. I have worn this shirt sweater a couple times so don’t go
out and buy a new sweatshirt to achieve this. Simply grab one from your
closet and if you live in a hot climate a cotton sweater will achieve
the same look. A full fun short girlie skirt is a must have in my
opinion and if the skirt has pockets even better! Make sure you tuck the
sweater into the waist of the skirt to ensure you don’t look frumpy and
you will also get a great waist-line by tucking in the sweater. My
retro sunglasses and hair kinda lead the look Into a more retro/cool
direction however I also used cool classic accessories and a very
modern clutch, mixing the various trends is ok as long as it is done
right. Because this was a somewhat casual outing I opted for flat
sandals instead of a heel. Although these sandals are flat they are
still dressy creating the perfect balance while sitting pretty.
