Balancing “volume” over “volume”
can be a little tricky. If you don’t do it right you end up looking
frumpy and it can visually add pounds to your silhouette! The key to
doing it right is too choose the right pieces. You want to make sure you
pick pieces that highlight the smallest parts of your body frame. My
oversized pants are fitted at the hips and waistline showing off my hips/waist. Because the pants are so wide they actually make my waist look
smaller. To highlight the top detail of the pants I chose a sweat shirt
that was somewhat cropped, with the hem of the top ending right above
the pants, framing the pants perfectly. Pops of color, with my necklace and bag
complement the black and white outfit and my shoes add the perfect
finishing touch to make this look the ultimate balancing act of color
and volume!
