On a recent super casual 1st birthday party for my little girl, I wanted
to be jeans and t-shirt casual and not feel under dressed. Being that
it was my party (my daughters, mine, same difference) I wanted to make
sure I was dressed to run around, entertain, standout and be comfortable
all at the same time. So instead of going in the obvious direction of a
white tee-shirt and blue jeans, I decided to achieve the same mobility a
tee-shirt and jeans outfit would give me but in the form of a peplum
with gun metal studded shoulders and white jeans. I know white jeans are
definitely, a little “riskey” for a baby’s party however I was up for
the challenge. If you have an occasion coming up that requires you to
be casual, comfortable and yet stand out, I suggest you buy a dressy
top in tee-shirt also known has stretch cotton material. Everyone stands
out in white so white jeans won the vote over blue. Platform sandals or
pumps are more comfortable so if you need to wear heels I suggest you
opt for that. Simple easy details create a fun easy look that stands out
at any casual event.
