There truly is no city
like New York City. The city is so vibrant and alive making it the perfect
place to have fun with fashion. On my recent trip to New York I decided to meet
up with friends for drinks at the famous roof top of the Gansevoort hotel.
For this little outing I wanted to be standout stylish, and I achieved just
that with this edgy stylish look. Sweatshirts are one of the hottest trends
right now hence making this sheer pattern sweatshirt perfect for the energetic
setting. I wanted to make sure I did not take away from the sweatshirt, and
opted for this raw silk curved edge skirt. The black edge picked off the black
of the sheer top making it an excellent match. The fabric of the skirt had a
glow making it as vibrant as the setting we were in without overpowering the
top. Because no outfit is complete without a twist I decided my biker
booties where the right choice to complete this look and give it the necessary
edge for a night out in the city. A modern clutch mimicking some of the color in
my sweatshirt was the last piece to this look. Fabric, color, pattern and edge
make this outfit faultless, vibrant and just right for drinks in the city that
never sleeps.
