Across the board the weather has been really bad lately, however you can’t let the weather
get you down – Instead of getting the bad weather blues, put on some blue! This
look features a combination of blue and black. Gone are the days when blue (navy)
and black were a no-no. I love the
combination of the two colors and adding white creates a pop, complementing
the two hues. I have had this navy with black details dress for a while so I figured
the best way to wear it again would be to layer it. Layering a cocktail dress
with a white shirt is a great way to transform the look of the dress from
cocktail to day-friendly. Depending on the weather you can decided to layer
more. Because the weather was a little chilly, I put on dark tights and a
leather top coat to complete my look, creating a chic, sophisticated look
inspired by the weather blues.
