Apparently purple is the color of 2014! Although purple is not my
favorite color, I can definitely understand why it is the “it” color
this season. This look features a clean crew neck sweater, which happens
to be 3 sizes larger then my normal size. – I bought the sweater
because of the richness of the purple hue. The over sized look of the
sweater creates an effortless-chic appeal making it the perfect top to
go with this subtle multi-colored skirt. Although black is the bases for
the skirt, it has multiple color threads running through it, colors
which included purple and blue, creating the opportunity to pair the
skirt with my purple Sweater and blue based shoe and bag without
overwhelming the look. A colored skirt that carefully showcases multiple
colors is a perfect way to highlight your focus color. With that said
don’t hesitate to throw on multiple colors this winter – it always works
with a black base and the right colors.
