FASHION AND STYLE: 3D FLOWERS

I have always been a little hesitant to indulge in the Target/Designer collaborations because I’m a fabric fanatic and I have found that although the items posses the designer’s design touch, the fabric usually sucks. However the Peter Pilotto for Target collection is the exception to what I have found to be the Target collaboration rule. Not only do the items emulate the pattern swirl this house is known for but the quality is exceptional for the price-point, hence I indulged in this dress and a few other pieces. I have a weakness for prints especially floral prints, so this full skirt dress was a no-brainer. The side panels create a fitted sliming look and the floral print pops right off the fabric creating a 3D feel. I had to give this outfit my infamous style twist and threw on a leather and shinny jacquard Bomber jacket, dressing down the look just a notch while giving it a style-edge. Suede and Teju lizard embossed sandals also played off the texture in the dress and jacket and I used the green in my dress to pull in my green bag. A floral dress is not complete without floral sunglasses making these awesome floral sunglasses the last item to complete this 3D, chic and very colorful look.

WHAT CAN I SAY, MY BABY IS A NATURAL!
