I purchased my first expensive suit 10years ago and after all that time and two kids later it still fits! You could imagine my joy to not only fit into the suit, but for the suit to still look the way it did when I first purchased it! Men’s wear fashions will continue to influence women’s wear, it may not always be at the forefront of fashion right now, but it will continue to claim a spot in every fashion season. We all have a good suit sitting in our closet and we are constantly trying to find new ways to revamp it, hence I felt the need to create this stylish twist on a classic suit. A wide collar dress shirt is super stylish and stands out better then a regular collar shirt, making this a perfect choice for the look. The dress shirt also features a subtle stripe pattern, adding some additional interest and I combined it with a jacquard vest and my husband’s Chanel tie to add character and texture. The colors of my blue and white lace pattern pumps pick off of my shirt and add just the right amount of color without taking away from the classic-chic appeal this look creates. All the elements of this look come together to create the perfect look suited for work or any stylish event.
