It feels like yesterday, when I first laid eyes on my perfect spring/rain jacket. The color was a vibrant red, the silhouette  edgy  yet timeless…perfection! Scoring the perfect jacket is not as easy as you would  think, this particular jacket at the time was literally the only one left  in my size in Canada, hence I did not even  blink when I purchased it. When you find “the one” – grab it, it might not be there if you hesitate! Now that the weather is transitioning into spring, I figured why not create an outfit that focuses around my ideal jacket. In this look, I really wanted the jacket to stand out, so I picked pieces that were classic, but also complimented the red hue of the jacket. A white shirt, black crop skinny jeans, classic pumps and a tote serve as the perfect base. Classic-chic pieces have a way of adding without taking away, hence why I  picked these pieces. It is funny how light accessories can dictate what direction your look will go. The “chic-factor” is delivered  in the form of a belt and over-sized sunglasses – completing the outfit and creating the ultimate spring-chic look.
