In my opinion Valentino did the best job at showcasing the lace trend this season. On a recent visit to their boutique, I was in total awe of the details and weight of the various types of lace the brand had to offer. The color select was also amazing, especially the black and white pieces, hence it became the inspiration for this look. To achieve this classic-chic look, layer a black lace dress over a crisp white shirt. Make sure the dress is either fitted or cut close to the body. You also want it to be a heavier lace to create a smooth silhouette. Like lace, color is in, so use a colorful bag to pop the look. The rock stud is the brands signature details and in a classic nude,
the shoe dresses up the ankle creating the perfect combination of sexy and classic.
