Summer is officially here and that means it is time to bring out the colors and have fun with style! Opposites attract, so don’t hesitate to pair a cool t-shirt with a classic pencil skirt. In this look I decided to pair a colorful cool tee-shirt that featured a burnt-out detail highlighting palm leafs. The leafs are lined with black making it easy to pull in black in the form of black pumps and sunglasses. Instead of going with the obvious I decided to match the top with a bright orange classic pencil skirt. The skirt is the perfect contrast to dress up this casual-fun top, and change the direction of this look. Instead of being casual the skirt along with a gold link necklace dresses up this look, adding a sophisticated flare. In keeping the look somewhat monochromatic, I added a tote in a slightly lighter shade of orange, this being the final piece to this look. It is too hot outside to go simple, so why not turn your classics upside down and dress up your burnt palm leafs!
