When you think of winter fashion, you have to include leather clothing. As far as I’m concerned leather is synonymous with winter. Leather attire is not only stylish but it serves as another layer of skin, which helps in keeping the body warm in cold weather. My favorite article of leather clothing has to be leather leggings/leather pants. The versatility of leather leggings makes them a closet staple. They are on trend every year and pair perfectly with a variety of top silhouettes. In today’s look I matched my pair which is made out of lambskin with a fur detailed sweater. Lambskin pants are extremely thin, making them flexible and they feel like butter.
The Pros and Cons of owing lambskin leggings
PROS:
Lambskin leggings or leather pants are delicate and luxurious. The leather of these pants are very thin, soft to the touch and visually beautiful. Because they are so thin, they are also very comfortable and feel like a butter. They are an aspirational piece that is in style every year.CONS:
The delicate nature of the leather means that they can easily be scuffed or tear. I personally have owned my pair for over 5 years. Unfortunately they ripped after shooting this look (my new pair is on the way). My pair tore because I decided to continuously kneel in them while playing photographer for a friend. Leather pants are also very expensive so if you decide to invest in them make sure you buy a pair you love and wear jeans to conduct photoshoots.
