What’s Galentines Day?

This Valentine’s Day, I decided to switch things up, and instead of celebrating the love my husband, and I share everyday on just one day, I decided to celebrate my girl pals here in Atlanta for Galentine’s Day. What’s Galentine’s Day you ask? It is the other side of Valentine’s Day. It is a day (February 13th) when girl friends, single or not, celebrate each other. I decided to celebrate the hard-working, women that also share my passion for love, and life. Don’t get me wrong, I will also celebrate Valentine’s Day with my husband (he can’t get off that easy). But why not do both! Plus, I never turn down an excuse to dress up and ki-ki with girlfriends.

If you decided to celebrate Galentine’s Day this year or Valentine’s Day, here are some stylish options for dressing up or keeping it casual.

Dress it up

You can never go wrong wearing a dress on Valentine’s Day. Red is definitely the go to color for this day of love. If red is not your gam, don’t worry, because I have something for everyone.Atlanta fashion blogger Monica Awe-Etuk shows you want you need to wear for valentines day.

Keep it casual

Not everyone will be going to fancy dinners to celebrate their love for their girl pals or significant others this year. That is why I have selected some casual-cool pieces, these are looks perfect for movie night, a bar hangout, or celebrating at home.
