Cheers to the amazing girlfriends in our lives
Today is Galentine’s Day! A day to celebrate your friendships with your girlfriends. Whether it’s wine night, brunch, a sleepover, shopping or taking a stroll, we can all agree that one of the most rewarding things in life is having great girlfriends. They keep us encouraged, uplifted, laughing, give out the best advice and can turn a bad day into a good day with a simple hello.
During New York Fashion Week, I got to spend time with old and new friends. We talked about life, goals, work and the importance of supporting one another. There is something about breaking bread with your girlfriends to give you perspective, and allow you to appreciate shared values.
While in New York this past week, I personally had a situation where I wasn’t sure of what to do. The situation had the potential to negatively impact my work. But thanks to the advice of my girlfriends, I was able to tackle the issue, and make what I now know was the right decision. Good girlfriends will not always agree with you, but will allow you to see both sides. They will encourage you no matter what, and not judge.

I am dedicating today’s blog post to all the ride or die girlfriends in our lives. This post is dedicated to my sisters, new and old friendships, and my loyal followers. I have to admit, I would not have experienced half of my success if it weren’t for the amazing women in my life. I consider myself lucky because I am surrounded by great women. My girlfriends encourage me to be great, and to strive for nothing but greatness.
Surround yourselves with women that encourage you. Women who see your greatness before you do. You can never put a price tag on honesty, and loyalty, hence I encourage you to get rid of anyone who doesn’t uplift you and add value to your life.
