When moving into my new home, I knew I wanted to create rooms that felt special. I wanted to make sure that the home felt elegant, modern, minimal, and chic. Kind of like that feeling you get when you enter a five-star luxury hotel or resort. Hence the decor for my master suite was inspired by some of the luxurious hotel rooms I have visited over the years.
In today’s new blog post, I show you how to make your bedroom look like a hotel bedroom. The post features my latest YouTube video, which showcases my master suite, and highlights the pieces that I use to create a bedroom that looks and feels like a hotel room. Scroll down to the bottom to check out my photo gallery, and shop the pieces in the video and more. In addition to the video I offer 4 helpful tips you can use to create a bedroom that feels and looks like a hotel room.

4 tips on how to make your bedroom look like a hotel room
1. Keep it minimal:
I am somewhat of a neat freak, and I believe that the more you have an a room, the more inclined it is to become cluttered, and messy. When trying to create a bedroom that feels airy, and luxurious, like a hotel bedroom, less is always more.2. Add the right pieces:
Focus on adding stylish, yet essential pieces into your room. i.e. add a statement bed, like a canopy bed to your space. This style of bed is a statement piece that adds interest to the space.3. Mix modern and clean with traditional pieces:
Furniture that is bulky, and too dark, creates an overwhelming feeling. I opted for modern pieces and paired them with a few eclectic and traditional pieces here and there to create a homely vibe.4. Add minimum art and photos.:
I’ve always wondered why we fill our houses with the same photos. You don’t need multiple photos of the same people in the same space. Instead opt for two or three photos that are meaningful and represent important times of your life, and keep your art to a minimal. One or two pieces of art in the same space are more than enough.c

Hello Happy Wednesday!! Your home is amazing. May I ask where you purchased the ceiling fan in the bedroom I didn’t see it in your links of where to purchase?
Hey lovely, thank you so much. The fan was already in place when we moved in. I will try and do some research and keep you posted.
First of all, I love your carpets. Secondly, I like how your room is less crowded. Every item in the room is just beautiful.
Thank you so much! I truly love the space.
You and your room are absolutely lovely. Thank you for sharing this. I wish I had your talent.
