It’s a new year and I am committed to trying new things, and living everyday to the fullest. Hence in 2022, each month, I will be sharing my obsessions. This will include fashion, decor, experiences, skincare, basically anything I am obsessed with! 1. The Valentino TAN-GO Patent Leather pumps
When I tell you I am obsessed with these pumps, I am not kidding. These are the tallest heels I own, and it does feel like I am walking on stilts when I walk in them, but they elevate an outfit like no other. I have worn them a couple of times in the short period I have owned them. They are extremely sexy and somewhat comfortable considering the heel height. They start to hurt around the width after a few hours. The ankle strap is a little big as my feet are big and my ankles are tiny, hence I plan on adding more holes to the strap to make the strap more secure around my ankles, hence making it easier to walk in.
2. Doctor Dennis Gross Pro Facial Steamer
I got this steamer from the brand for a recent collaboration I did with them highlighting the Doctor Dennis Gross Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Intense Wrinkle Cream. Although the cream was the focus of the collaboration, they sent this as well for me to try. At first I thought it would be a hassle to use, but it’s not! It’s so easy to use! I use it every morning and night while I wash my face and apply oils to my skin. It feels so luxurious and I love it. This device is a treat and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take better care of their skin, and invest in things that will give you joy.
3. TRUFF – Gourmet Hot Sauce, White Truffle hot sauce, Black Truffle oil and more.
I was first introduced to this brand last year on a media trip, and I have to say Truff products are amazing! I thought they only made hot-sauce, but over the holidays the brand reached out and sent me a box of multiple products they offer such as their olive oil, pasta sauce, white truffle hot sauce, their hotter than hot sauce, and more. I made eggs with the olive oil and it was absolutely delish! Their mayonnaise also taste great with everything! I am truly obsessed and will continue to stock up on their items.
4. Sisley Paris Le Phyto-Rouge Lipstick
The rich hue of this red is everything. I wore it for a few YouTube videos and everyone loved it! I love how it keeps my lips moisturized. The pigment is rich and last for quite a long time. Perfect pop of color for the winter season.
5. Express Plaid Belted Wrap Front Coat
I love a good black and white coat! I recently got this coat from Express, and I LOVE it! I love classic coats that are interesting. The modern plaid is very much on trend, and the oversized lapels make the perfect statement. It’s not too heavy, so it’s perfect for Atlanta fall and winter.
6. HBO MAX TV show; My Mom, Your Dad
I stumbled across this new show on HBO and I am obsessed! Seeing that Yvonne Orji was part of the show I knew it would be funny. The show doesn’t disappoint, it is hilarious! Seeing these parents in their late 40s and 50s dating and watching their kids reactions to their dates is hilarious! If you need a break from all the craziness of news and all the overly serious TV right now, I highly recommend this show.
7. POPFLEX Starry Night Water Bottle – 64 Oz
I find that my skin looks it’s best when I drink a lot of water. This bottle has been a game changer for me, as it motivates me to drink more. It literally keeps my water cold for hours. The stainless steel bottle is also sweat proof, leak proof and all around cute. If I must drink tons of water each day, I want it to be from a stylish bottle lol.
8. Fendi First Medium Marble Velvet bag
I have a ton of bags, but nothing like this gorgeous work of art. The Fendi First silhouette is one of my absolute favorite bag silhouettes right now. I have the small and micro size, so I wasn’t sure if I was going to take the plunge on this one after pre-ordering it and only seeing it in photos. I actually returned it, but ended up seeing it in person and had to have it. I have worn it with multiple outfits (watch my Youtube videos to see a few ways I have styled the bag) to several occasions and I have only had it for less than two months. The fact that the bag exhibits multiple colors also makes it extremely versatile.
