As someone who is a little impatient, I tend to buy myself gifts, leaving very little options for my husband, friends and family. There is one gift that I will wait patiently to receive, and that is a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I love flowers. An attractive floral arrangement literally brings me joy. There is something about flowers that lighten up the room, making them a must have in my home.
As a mom that is constantly working, I try to surround myself with things that bring me a natural sense of ease and joy. Flowers evoke pure joy for me. Nothing beats ending a long work day, then retreating to your family room, or bedroom that is adorned by lovely floral arrangements. Not only are flowers visually beautiful, but they smell great too. For me, flowers are a symbol of appreciation and a reminder that I am loved. And for all these reasons, a bouquet of flowers serve as the best gift for me as well as all mothers that just need a break.
