Hey Style Lovers, Happy Friday! I am extremely excited about this weekend because it’s my husband and I’s Birthday weekend! Well technically it’s his birthday weekend because my birthday is not until Monday, but I will claim it anyways. In addition to it being our birthdays I have a few events I have to attend. I am looking forward to a fun-filled weekend of family time, networking, and celebrating another year of life.
Today’s outfit post was actually shot during my trip to Lagos Nigeria. It features this fabulous Ankara dress by Frankie & Co, a Lagos fashion brand. I love this dress because of it’s laid back yet stylish silhouette, as well as the pretty floral patterns located all over the dress. These features also make the dress a great option for summer. In addition to the off the shoulder detail which is still a major trend, the dress also has the tie detail located on the shoulders. This extra detail gives the dress a stylish edge, and I love it! I wanted to make this outfit the perfect summer fun look, hence I decided to pair the dress with a pair sneakers. The straw hat and a white bag complete this fun look, making it the ideal outfit to explore the city, or just to enjoy a beautiful summer day.
