Fall is coming my friends and one of the most important trends this upcoming season will be the suit.

Buying a suit used to be a big investment, however you can now find a good suit at any price-point! I do recommend investing in a great suit or two, however because power suits are becoming more trendy, and more brands are making them available, you can get one without spending a fortune.

Picking the right suit separates

Two things to consider before buying your next suit

1. fabric.

Fabric selection is super important when buying a suit. You want material that is durable, and on Trent. Now that we are going into the fall, plaid is definitely a must have fabric for your suits. Depending on the season you might want to opt for a light weight option, something that does not have wool. Look for cotton or polyester, or fabric blend suits that will transition easily into the fall season. When the weather gets a little cold opt for fabrics that are infused with wool. Heavier materials like wool work great in the cool seasons because it absorbs moisture,  but stays warmer than most fabrics,

2. silhouette

You can either “hit” or “miss” this trend, it really depends on the silhouette. It is easy to “miss” this trend and come across matronly as opposed to on trend. Hence picking the right style is key. Relaxed(boyfriend), or fitted, both silhouettes are on trend and styles to buy this season. If you opt for a relaxed or boxy silhouette like I did in today’s outfit, try paring it with more fitted items like a tank top, or belt the blazer to show off your figure.
