Today I turn 41, and I am truly grateful. I originally wanted to share a video highlighting five things I have learned about myself and my plans moving forward, but I have to admit the past weeks have been rough and I haven’t been motivated to do that. But stay tuned as I will create this video and post soon. In the meantime, I am sharing a new video on my Youtube channel. I am a big birthday person, and I love getting gifts, regardless of how big or small they are. Since I can’t have a big celebration this year, I am focusing on all the blessings around me, including discovering new fashion and sharing new and old brands with you. The video features some amazing gifted fashion pieces, how I create 5 outfits from these pieces, and unboxing two pairs of shoes I just picked up. Make sure you check out the video because it’s a fun one. Also scroll down to read my Instagram birthday caption (it’s a good one).

In the midst of two global pandemics I find myself grateful. Today I turn 41, and I am grateful for another year of life, grateful for my family, grateful that I am stuck, but safe at home, grateful for the many who raise their voices so I can have equality. Although the world is experiencing much chaos at the moment I still find joy and I employ you all to do the same. Find joy and peace in the little things, because we will all get through this together, stronger, wiser and better.
I have a new Youtube video on my channel, unboxing a few gifted items, and summer shoes I added. I also try on 5 looks including the gifted dress featured in this post by @Sézane. Check out the video and on my birthday, I ask that you show kindness and spread a little love today because we desperately need it right now. Happy birthday to me.
