Hey Style Lovers, happy Wednesday! It looks like it’s going to be raining for a couple of days in Atlanta, so today’s look is perfect for the occasion! Dressing up when the forecast calls for rain can be a little tedious. Your options for what to wear narrows, as you naturally exclude long pants and skirts because the hems will get wet, and potentially ruin the fabric. Shoe options are also limited, as the water can ruin certain leathers like suede, and lamb leather. Hence my need to create a stylish look that works in this not so fun weather.
Today’s look is stylish, fun, and perfect for any occasion that falls on a rainy day. I opted for patent leather booties as they can withstand a beating by the rain. A short skirt or even a midi skirt means my hems don’t touch puddles. A classic sweater and white shirt combination is made more interesting with the help of a silk scarf tied as a bow and a blue bag to add just the right amount of color. A fun umbrella completes the look making it the perfect outfit for a rainy day!
