LINEN AND RUFFLES

Hey Style Lovers happy Friday! I have so many exciting things happening this weekend, so to say I’m excited is a little bit of an understatement. My sisters, nieces, nephews and friends will all be in town from Toronto, hence I look forward to hosting them for Canada Day which is July 1st. For those of you who don’t know I was born and raised in Toronto Canada, I also lived in Nigeria for a couple of years, hence I’m a Canadian-Nigerian living in Atlanta lol. Canada celebrates its 150th birthday this Saturday, and I look forward to celebrating the birthday of Canada, as well as all the past June babies in my family(follow my InstaStories to see all the fun things I will be up to this weekend).

Today’s outfit post is the perfect look to end the weekend. This look is festive, it’s chic, and it is an excellent option for a weekend of fun. I created this look around these amazing ruffled pants (unfortunately they have sold-out, shop similar styles HERE). Ruffles on pants are a major trend right now, they are stylish and add a touch of summer-chic to your look. I paired the pants with this beautiful white apron styled blouse. The silhouette of the top frames the pants perfectly. The white hue of the blouse does a great job of complementing the beige pants. The color duo create a summer fresh look. To continue the white and beige theme of the outfit, I introduced beige sandals, and a dark-beige bag. I wanted to make sure the outfit remained somewhat monochromatic hence I completed the look with the brown hat. No, my hair didn’t grow overnight, it’s a wig. I wanted to try something new with the long hair, and I’m happy I did because it makes the outfit perfect.
