When it comes to travel looks, the destination matters! What I would wear to land in Lagos totally differs from what I would wear to land in Lake Como. One would think I’m only dressing too match the climate of my travel destinations, but this is only partly true. When I think about where I’m traveling, I also think about fashion energy of that space. You might not use the same terminology, but you know what I mean. For example, when you think of Lagos, the fashion energy that comes to mind is vibrant, made for hot weather and out loud luxury. With this in mind, I know what kind of travel outfit I would and would not wear!

IT’S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! Taking trips, eating great food, dancing with friends all night. Sounds like the makings of a great summer, right? I want this for all of us but I want to spend a little time highlighting the other side of having a good time, doing it responsibly.
I know I know, who wants to hear that when the weather is finally warming up? But consider this, how you’re spending your time, money and energy NOW will help shape how your year ends. So if you’re thinking about buying a home before the year ends, maybe take a local summer trip instead of one to Italy. If you know you’re staying committed to your fitness journey this year, try and incorporate some mocktails when you’re out with the girls. However you decide to have fun, try and think of how your future “you” will be impacted, you’ll thank yourself later.
